Yesterday, my youngest and I were supposed to go and ride the Mckinney Avenue Trolley, but of course it was Sunday and the trolley was rolling on a slower schedule than it normally runs. So with that being said, we made it to the trolley station, which was so hot and had no shaded cover area. We decided not stay. Soooo.
We ended up traveling to our downtown Dallas farmers market, which by the time we got there most of the merchants were closing up for the day so that they could enjoy a day of rest for this Labor Day off. So........we ended up walking through this new area called the Market Place, This is an eating area/flea market combination for those who venture to the farmers market and want have lunch afterwards.
This was my first time visiting the Market Place since it has been opened and I was pleasantly surprised. This place was awesome! It was filled all kinds of textures and colors. It offered restaurants where you pick the fish and they fry it up for you. You could also do a little shopping if you like because of the cute little boutique shops they offered. Anyhoooo........
The youngest and I ended up eating lunch at Taqueria La, Ventana where we shared some good ole chips and queso and some good ole Texas fajita tacos. Thats my story and I'm sticking too it.
